How it's classified

Self-employment / trade income ('net trade income') — not salary, not capital gains (Singapore has no CGT).

Tax rate

Resident progressive 0–24% (first S$20,000 tax-free, top 24% above S$1M).

Social contributions

No general social tax, but compulsory MediSave (CPF) once net trade income exceeds S$6,000.

Registration / regime

Register as a self-employed person/sole proprietor; declare net trade income in Form B. Self-assessment.

Crypto payouts

USDC is income at SGD value on receipt. No special crypto income tax — ordinary rules.
